1) Prep & Hygiene – The Foundation of Everything
· Wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap
· Dry completely (moisture = incorrect pigment transfer)
· Gently push back cuticles with a wooden stick

· Apply a light exfoliator to the nail area
· Moisturize the area before application
· Medium-grit nail files (240–400)
· Wooden cuticle stick (never use metal)
· Buffer to smooth the surface
· Quality base coat
· Nail polish of choice (shade for every skin tone)
· Top coat to set and protect
· Fine brush for any corrections
Step 1: Base coat
· Apply a thin, even layer
· Wait 2-3 minutes to dry
